The championship, taking place at the Birsa Munda Athletics Stadium in Ranchi, India, featured a tightly contested 4x100 meter relay with five national teams vying for the podium.
Sri Lanka dominated the event, claiming gold with a time of 44.70 seconds, while hosts India followed closely, earning silver at 44.93 seconds.
The Maldivian team crossed the finish line at 47.79 seconds, earning a well-deserved bronze medal and marking an important achievement for the country in regional athletics.
Bangladesh finished fourth with a timing of 48.21 seconds, and Nepal trailed behind, completing the relay in 50.17 seconds.
